Why this exists
Records up here are spread thin
In the mountains, one question can touch four offices in three towns. The recorder holds the deed. The building department holds the permit. The town holds the license. The water court divisions and ditch companies hold paper that predates all of them.
People do not need a lecture on government structure. They need someone who knows which office holds which record, asks that office properly, and writes down what comes back. That is the whole business.

The offices we deal with
Clerks, recorders, permit counters
County clerks and recorders, assessor offices, town clerks, building departments and license offices across Eagle, Summit, Pitkin and Garfield counties. Requests go in through the channel each office actually monitors, and every response is kept.
Records held by public agencies stay subject to their rules. Certified copies come from the custodian, not from us. We find, request and report.
